🌊 Special Edition Newsletter: Blue Impact Highlights

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Last Saturday, the E1 Series hosted a special Blue Panel Dialogue at Dubrovnik’s iconic Hotel Excelsior, presented by Adriatic Luxury Hotels. The event brought together leading voices in marine conservation and innovation to discuss the future of our oceans, with a special focus on the urgent need for reef restoration.

The morning began with a warm welcome from David Taylor, CEO of Adriatic Luxury Hotels, whose sponsorship made the gathering possible. David set the stage by emphasising Dubrovnik’s growing role as a symbol of sustainability and innovation in the region.

He was followed by renowned yacht designer Dan Lenard, who inspired the audience with his vision for a sustainable future in marine design.

After these opening remarks, our team at DIEF took the stage for a panel discussion, moderated by Anna Kebke, featuring Carlos Duarte, E1’s Chief Scientist.

We were proud to present ReefQuest—our flagship initiative focused on hands-on reef restoration along the Dalmatian coast. The discussion emphasised how local action, scientific expertise, and community support can drive meaningful change for our marine ecosystems.

To bring our mission to life, we shared a special video featuring footage from the first phase of ReefQuest, captured by KPA Zadar.

After the panel, guests enjoyed the excitement of the E1 electric powerboat race—an inspiring reminder of how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Now, we invite you to help us turn this momentum into real change for the Adriatic. Our ReefQuest Crowdfunder is live, and every donation directly supports hands-on reef restoration, research, and community engagement.
