DIEF’s First Fundraising Event

Last Thursday, March 5th, marked a milestone for DIEF: our first fundraising event in Zagreb at The Westin brought together distinguished supporters committed to protecting Dalmatia’s islands, its communities, and the Adriatic Sea.

 

Event Highlights

The evening featured inspiring speeches from DIEF SC Chairman Vladimir Maoduš and Executive Director Inga Jurin, who shared our vision for sustainable island preservation. Guests heard from Ben Goldsmith, founder of Conservation Collective, and British Ambassador Javed Patel on the urgent need for collective action. Ivana Kordić, representing Tatavaka Association, showcased three completed projects we’ve funded and previewed exciting new initiatives already underway. The networking part of the event brought together our treasured donors, partners, and friends.
