Call for Project Proposals: Dalmatian Islands Environment Foundation

The Dalmatian Islands Environment Foundation (DIEF) is excited to announce a new Call for Project Proposals aimed at fostering environmental protection and sustainability throughout the Dalmatian Islands!

Who Can Apply?

Local non-profit organizations with a strong commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable future for the Dalmatian archipelago are invited to apply.

What Are We Looking For?

DIEF is seeking innovative, impactful projects that align with our key focus areas:

  • Habitat and Biodiversity Conservation
  • Regenerative Land Use
  • Sustainable Development & Resource Management

We are looking for clear and compelling proposals that focus on creating measurable, sustainable long-term results. Projects should prioritize capacity building, engage local communities, and make the most of local expertise and resources.

Where Will Projects Be Implemented?

We encourage projects across the Dalmatian Islands and will prioritize those with the potential for replicability to amplify their positive impact beyond their immediate area.

How to Apply

Before completing the online application, we encourage you to contact Inga, our Executive Director (inga@dalmatianenvironment.org), by sharing a short concept note (maximum 500 words) in Croatian or English, along with the budget. This will allow us to provide early insights and share relevant guidance regarding our funding priorities.

For more detailed information and to access the application form, visit our Grants page. You can find it under the “How to Apply” section.

All applications must be submitted by 12 PM on November 11, 2024.

Let’s join forces to preserve and protect the natural beauty of the Dalmatian Islands for future generations!
